My gut feeling says Hazen will be allowed to build next year's roster, but Lovullo is managing for his job over the final 52 games. Lovullo is an easy scapegoat for how the season has unfolded, and the fans probably will be screaming for his head, if not already.
The organizational pitching depth was completely depleted this year, which is why Hazen went hard on pitching prospects in the return. There are other issues on the club that need to be addressed, specifically the outfield situation and how that's gotten worse, but that can wait until the offseason.
Would be suprised to see Hazen dismissed. Looks like next couple of years will be tumultuous so maybe time for fresh leadership?
